Part-time Lecturers (CityU SCOPE)

The School of Continuing and Professional Education, City University of Hong Kong (CityU SCOPE), aspires to be a leading school in professional and lifelong education. Applications are invited for the posts of Part-time Lecturer for the following daytime language courses:

Courses

• University Chinese
• Cantonese for Putonghua-speaking Students
• Preparatory Courses for the National Putonghua Proficiency Test
• Chinese/Cantonese for Non-Chinese Speaking Students

Duties

Perform teaching and related duties, setting and marking assessments and re-assessments, student consultation, and attending meetings.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in the relevant discipline(s);
• At least 3 years’ experience in teaching the relevant discipline(s), preferably at the tertiary level; and
• A strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
