I remember exactly 2 years ago, when my 4 years of undergraduate studies in English Education was abruptly terminated by a local university on the basis of failing the block practice (whose criteria for passing is very subjective, depending on individual perspectives of different supervisors), I was completely broken and demoralized, until I come across this bridging programme in SCOPE called the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) English for International Corporate Communication (BAEICC)

This programme has given me hope, courage and a second chance to conclude my undergraduate marathon with flying colors. It has provided ample opportunities to test my mettle and faith against overwhelming odds with the unwavering support, guidance and encouragement from respective instructors/lecturers, who are caring and thoughtful in their teaching strategies and materials, the content of which are highly relevant, compact and well-designed, providing me substantial subject knowledge which is crucial for postgraduate studies.

The programme has also reignited my passion toward the English language and enhanced my language proficiency in the process. It has driven me to study tenaciously for my personal interest and has prepared me for my future aspiration as a potential language instructor. I feel truly thankful and blessed for enrolling in this programme and I would want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to SCOPE and its EICC team of professional academic and administrative staff.

It is such a great experience to study in SCOPE. The teachers here are friendly and the relationship between the students and teachers are close. We can do our sharing with the teachers casually in or after the courses. SCOPE not only provided us with the academic learning experience, but also the chance to sharpen our communication skills as well as help us build up the social network.

I was honored to join the Go Green Party this year. We had to organize the activity on our own with help from the school officer. It was a great chance for us practice the skills that we have learnt from the book. We have to contact not only the students, but also the teachers. During the whole process, various problems have been encountered. Through the proper communication and cooperation that can we make a huge success for the party.

It is our hope that the success of the party can leave a good example to the students who will be in charge of organizing the coming activities and help connect the students and teachers together.

All the experience here in SCOPE has made me another person as it helps shape me better for the challenges in the society.
