畢業後, 我加入了HAESL 香港航空發動機維修服務有限公司。這是一間提供民航飛機引擎大修服務的公司, 客戶遍布全世界。我作為引擎大修部工程師的主要職責為帶領4個引擎組件維修部門， 日常工作包括對引擎進行檢驗和疑難排解，計劃和安排人員進行引擎維修工作、 對部門人員提供技術指導和培訓、領導團隊設計及執行維修能力開發和流程改進項目、 帶領團隊進行在外地的緊急維修服務。
在這個課程中我學到很多有用的知識， 要揀選一項最為幫助我的項目， 那就是計劃管理課程 (Project Management) 。 "創新" 對於現今所有行業都是一個非常重要的策略性項目，而創新方面的工作正正就是以計畫形式進行。 計劃管理課程十分實用，由計劃開始到結尾的所有細節和重點也詳細提及， 當中的學問能夠幫助我處理在工作上所負責的維修能力開發計劃和流程改進項目計劃。
CITYU SCOPE航空管理榮譽理學士學位課程最獨特之處是當中部分課堂是由香港航空業的在職專業人士所教授，課堂所引用的內容都是最貼近實況的例子， 因此實用性非常高。而且導師們亦常常分享寶貴的工作心得，能夠令同學們對行業更加認識，對於為日後投身航空業的人士，絕對會獲益良多。
這個航空管理榮譽理學士學位課程的主任 Vector Wong 先生就是當年我畢業論文的指導老師， 非常深刻當日他向我們表達營運這個課程的初心，他說當年在香港關於航空業的課程並不多， 當時初出茅廬的他在這個行業的知識多數來自於本地的前輩的教導，到了現在希望將這些知識系統化地傳授下一代。我十分有幸能夠跟 Vector Wong 先生學習，獲益良多。我未來的目標和計劃也是希望將我所學到的知識傳給後輩， 將這個教育精神薪火相傳。

我認為修讀這個課程大大擴闊了自己對航空業的眼界，為我現時航空顧問工作打了良好的根基。其中令我最深刻的是課程中會邀請不少業界專業人士分享一些營運和管理上的實質例子，增加課堂的實用和趣味性，也令我有機會去理解他們本身職位的工作，對自己的就業方向有所啓發。
除此之外，無論在升學或就業上，導師們都會給予很多鼓勵和建議，也是全賴他們的分析，令我決定選擇到英國修讀有關機場規劃的碩士課程，順利在畢業後覓得現時職位。
另外，我認為最大得著是畢業論文，因為可以訓練自己多方面的能力，如數據分析，時間管理和批判思考，對我現時工作十分有幫助。
最後，我認為基於IATA預測全球乘搭飛機的旅客將會在二十年內提升一倍，而亞洲正是處於航空業增長的階段，很多航空公司和機場都已經有計劃地擴展不同設施，所以未來航空業的人手需求會不斷上升，令我相信航空業有良好的發展。

因為我有意於航空業發展，所以報讀了 CityU SCOPE 與英國Coventry University合辦的航空管理(榮譽)理學士學位課程。課程的內容十分全面，涵蓋了不同的課題。當然，各科教授的悉心教導外，也不時提供就業或繼續升學的資料給我們作為參考及分析。
學校為了加深我們對航空的認識，會邀請業界人士給我們提供課堂及分享他們多年的實戰經驗，從學習中得到更多課本以外的專業知識，絕對獲益良多。
畢業後，我便投身於航空行業，分別任職空運服務主任及現任機管局的營運主任。因為這個課程，令我有航空知識的基礎，容易理解工作上的需要。而且服務性行業，最重要是溝通同時要面對不同的突發事情，能把課程中所學到如何有效地處理緊急情況的技巧應用在工作上，真的學以致用。在未來的日子，我相信航空業會提供不少就業機會。

Being an aviation management student of Coventry University and CityU SCOPE was an academic experience that lead to personal and professional growth. The curriculum and industrial visits have truly instilled self-confidence in me that will carry on into my future career. Coventry University has enhanced my professionalism and given me new and bold opportunities in the Hong Kong aviation industry.
Coventry University has broadened my perspectives in regards to my role within the aviation industry. I only focused on customer service before, but now, I understand the fundamentals and the intricate inner-workings of the aviation field. The programme brought me new challenges which are full of learning and excitement that further propelled my love of aviation.

Prior to studying this programme, I completed an Associate Degree in Airport Operations and Aviation Logistics in the Community College of City University. Since I wanted to gain more knowledge in aviation, I chose to study this programme. This programme taught a wide range of aviation subjects, such as airport safety, emergency planning and security, strategic planning and aviation scheduling etc. It has deepened my knowledge in different aspects of the industry.
This programme lets me gain the skills other than aviation, such as problem-solving, planning and organizing. These useful skills enable me to further my study in Master of Arts in Transport Policy and Planning after I graduated in my degree programme.
I think study is not just learning the content of subjects. We also need to learn some soft skills other than the subjects.These skills are useful for different areas and career advancement in the future.
