SDU Workshop | Ace the Interview & Aptitude Tests (January 2024)

In January, the Student Development Unit of CityU SCOPE has arranged two career-related workshops titled "Ace the Interview" and "Aptitude Tests" to elevate our students' employability.

For the workshop - "Ace the Interview"  held on 18 January, our manager, Ms. Alice Leung Kirkwood, delivered engaging content for interview skills and techniques, ranging from the common interview questions to the best practices for pre and post-interview.

For the second workshop - "Aptitude Tests" held on 19 January, Alice shared several types of tests that may appear in the aptitude tests, and also some tips to succeed in the test. Not only lecturing, but Alice also discussed different sample questions with the participants and conducted a mock test for the participants at the end of the workshop, so that the students can be more familiar with the aptitude test format.

Through these two workshops arranged in January, our students are believed to be more well-equipped and confident to start their career life after graduation.

For Ace the Interview, it really helps me know what "Interview" is. With skills, various question types, and examples provided, I am pretty sure it will help our future career interview.

For the Aptitude Tests, as part of the job selection process, the workshop shows nearly all types of tests that we may face in the future. With hands-on experience, we can learn from mistakes, so as to develop skills regarding various types of tests.
