In this seminar, Dr. Corrigan started with a description of what a discussion is. Then, he identified the six types of discussions, explained how to apply five solutions to problems with discussions, four reasons for using discussions, three ways to start discussion, two effects of discussion on student and how to create discussion plan for tutorial. After the seminar, participants exchanged their teaching experience and views with Dr. Corrigan while enjoying the light refreshments outside the classroom.

In this seminar, Professor Yau gave us a very fruitful and enjoyable speech. He started his speech with a brief introduction of his background, followed by ten techniques on motivating and impressing our younger generation to have a good learning attitude as well as a positive view of life by quoting some real examples from his past teaching experience. Throughout his presentation, Dr. Corrigan posed several stimulating questions for participants to get involved discuss actively together. Then, he showed movies to demonstrate how AR and VR can be applied in different areas such as marketing, training, medical diagnosis and exploration of heritages sites.
