You should have completed an Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma in accounting, financial services or business. Diploma holders would also be considered.
In general, you will need 12 months in part-time to complete the BA programme
Fresh graduates will also be considered. You can submit your application by using your latest academic results, usually 3 trimesters. The admission panel will consider your application and issue a Conditional Offer to you if deemed appropriate, then you will need to submit your final academic result once obtained in June/ July.
This programme is accredited by HKCAAVQ at Level 5 which is equvelivant to a local degree, hence, it is fully recognised by the Hong Kong Government for employment purposes.
Lectures will be conducted by academic staff from Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) and CityU SCOPE, while all tutorials are conducted by academic staff from CityU SCOPE.
The classes will usually be held during weekday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
Examinations will be held during weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
All classes are held in CityU SCOPE Learning Centres in Kowloon Tong and Tsim Sha Tsui.
Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma graduates who have completed equivalent module in their prior study may apply for exemption up to a maximum of 1 stipulated module of the programme.
Yes, you have deduction of the fee for 20 credits ($570 per credit in 2020) if you successfully get exemption.
There is no minimum requirement by Edinburgh Napier University to attend tutorials or lectures before a student can sit for examination. However, it indicates that students who fail usually have low attendance in either tutorials or lectures.
For part-time study, a student should expect 3 to 4 evenings (if no class on Saturday) per week but it may be 5 evenings in a week (one week or two weeks only) if the module has block lectures conducted by ENU teachers.
Students have the option to apply for studying two modules in Trimester 2. Further, students can apply to continue studying for “honours” degree in ENU, UK.
