Professional Recognition
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
This course is professionally accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) through the globally accredited partnership agreement with the University of Wolverhampton. Graduates from the course may apply for Associate Membership (ASSoRICS) of RICS by fulfilling the requirements on experiences, portfolios assessment and an ethic module. Graduates who attained the AssocRICS with five or above years’ of post-degree relevant experiences and pass the final assessment interview are eligible to become Members of RICS by the Professional Experience Route. Alternatively, graduates admit to local/non-local higher and professional programmes accredited by RICS together with one year’s structured training are also eligible to become Members of RICS.
The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
This course is fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and has satisfied all the academic requirements for Corporate Membership. Graduates with 3 years’ professional experiences and pass the Professional Review are eligible to become Member of CIOB (MCIOB).

Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM)
The course is also fully accredited by the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM) and has satisfied the academic requirement for the Member class of membership. For graduates who reached the age of 25 and have had 4 years of work experience in construction field in HK, they would be eligible to become Member (MHKICM).
Quantity Surveyors International (QSi)
Graduates from the programme can automatically qualify for their professional interview with QSi conducted at the City University SCOPE nearing the completion of their study.
Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE)
This course has gained CABE course accreditation. CityU SCOPE is an Academic Partner of CABE.
